Mia Andrea
about me

Currently, I'm an animator and rigger at Anima Interactive where I'm bringing life to characters for an upcoming indie video game. Previously, I worked as a previs animator at Halon Entertainment where I had the opportunity to work on projects such as Marvel's Midnight Suns (video game) and Cocaine Bear (film).

In 2019, I graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in Animation and a Minor in Studio Art. Immediately after graduating, I began taking classes at AnimSchool to refine my animation skills and learn from the best in the industry. Most recently, I took a previsualization workshop at iAnimate to develop my cinematography and layout skills.

Though my roots are in traditional art, I've always had a strong connection to film and television and the way they tell stories. Animation is one of my favorite mediums because it combines both my artistic skills and love of storytelling.

During my free time, I like to watch TV (favorite shows: Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Fleabag, Severence and anything Marvel), paint, attend figure drawing sessions, play board games, or get outdoors and do basically anything that's not staring at a computer screen.
